Brought up in a village church choir in Cookham, Matt has been writing ever since: five full-scale musicals, five-star reviews at the Edinburgh Festival, and the 2022 Sir David Willcocks Carol Competition to his name. Many of his pieces are written for the very singers who premiere them.
